Hello! My name is Katie LaVoie, founder of Poppy J Stitches. Originally from Chicago, I’ve been enjoying the sunny Florida life for the past seven years. I’ve always been passionate about creativity, but after years in the corporate world, I found myself searching for something that reignited my spark. That’s when I turned to needlepoint, starting by painting canvases as gifts for friends. What began as a personal creative outlet quickly grew into something bigger, and Poppy J Stitches was born! Named in honor of my grandparents, Poppy and Jean, Poppy J specializes in carefully crafted designs that speak to all generations. I’m so excited to share these pieces with you and hope you love them as much as I do!
